超高圧力下で発現する結晶構造相転移現象に魅せられ放射光X線構造解析研究を開始し、1986年からはKEK-PFの受託大学院生として、その後企業研究員として放射光利用の実行者かつ取り纏め役となり、1997年のSPring-8供用開始時にJASRIに移籍・所属して以来、主にBLサイエンティストとして計30年間放射光利用研究に邁進してきました。2015年まで担当したBL10XUからは、主に高圧構造物性及び地球惑星科学分野に関する約300報の論文を提出することができました。このことはBLの光源・光学系から測定装置設計と導入、分野ユーザーとの連携した利活用等、広範囲に及ぶ協力的活動の結果と考えています。


略歴

  • 1989年、大阪大学大学院基礎工学研究科博士課程(2年間のKEK受託大学院を含む)を単位取得修了。
  • 同年、住友化学工業株式会社、同社筑波研究所に配属。(在職中筑波大学にて論文博士(工学)を取得)。
  • 1997年、財団法人(後に公益財団法人)高輝度光科学研究センター・ビームライン部門に移籍。
  • 2015年、同・利用研究促進部門・構造物性Ⅰグループ、グループリーダー、極限構造チーム及び動的構造チームのチームリーダーを兼職。

    • 固体ハロゲンの圧力誘起逐次構造相転移、人工超格子の圧力応答の研究(学位論文)。
    • 高圧X線回折+IP利用。レイトレースプログラム開発とPF/BL-16の光学設計。
