軟X線ビームラインであるBL25SUの担当者として利用実験のサポートと共同研究・開発を行っております。特に、磁性体の研究に欠かせない軟X線磁気円二色性(MCD)実験装置の改良、計測システムの構築など技術面に力を入れて活動しています。近年では強磁場走査型軟X線顕微鏡の開発を積極的に進め、磁性体の局所計測や顕微分光を目指した要素技術開発を行っています。また、元素戦略プロジェクト(磁性材料研究拠点)に参加し永久磁石試料の元素選択的イメージング、およびMCDイメージングに取り組んでいます。
